He is the author of seven chapbooks, is featured in five anthologies, and is the author of one full-length collection. A beat poet at heart, Myles specializes in freeform poetry and expressionism. Recently Myles Burr & The Last Straws worked with Leesta Vall Sound Recordings to create some one-of-a-kind direct-to-vinyl live recordings. Early next year, Burr will be heading to Château D’ Orquevaux in France for a stay at their three-week international artist residency. Myles Burr’s live performances blend poetry and music into a theatrical experience often described as entrancing. “Voyeuristic Sun” Myles Burr & The Last Straws first feature-length album was released in August of 2024. Their EP entitled “Futuristic Dread And Excitement.” was released July 2023. Burr is heavily influenced by the Beat Generation, and performers such as Iggy Pop, Peter Murphy, David Bowie, and Nick Cave. On the road, Burr has toured through most of the United States, performing anywhere from music venues, bookstores, coffee shops, and even the streets of New Orleans. There is beauty in every corner of the world, but what fascinates Myles Burr most of all is people and the human experience.

John Succi is a poet, painter and visual artist from Portsmouth, NH. His creative focus centers around appreciation of the abstract. He creates to free himself of thought, to be immersed in words and color, and to lift back the veil of unearthly shadows. John pursues his story while building meaning with words and carving out the narrative beneath layers of paint. Each piece reflects the soul of the artist during the process of its creative conception. In every piece, poem or painting, time is captured as an infinite snapshot of the artist. His studio is in South Berwick, Maine, and functions as a gallery space.
