From her very first visit, Mary Anker has loved and respected Japan, its people and their artistic sensibilities. She is a teacher and writer who digs into research to unearth understanding.

As an artist, printmaker, and teacher, Deloris White has studied and created traditional Moku-hanga prints as well as expressive monotypes, while making mixed-media connections. One of her recent woodblock prints is in the collection of the Munakata Shiko Memorial Museum of Art in Aomori, Japan.
