Jen Ryan Onken lives and teaches in southern Maine. Recent poems have appeared on Maine Public Radio, in The Night Heron Barks, and Love’s Executive Order. She won the Maine Poet’s Society 2019 prize for previously unpublished poets. Her micro chapbook That First Toss was a finalist for the 2019 Washburn Prize at Harbor Review. Jen recently completed her MFA from Warren Wilson’s Program for Writers.

Raegan Russell is an art educator and artist, who works in oil, mixed media and printmaking. Her current body of work is figurative, painterly and evocative of the light and space found in the neighborhoods and changing landscape of rural Maine. As a printmaker, she has traveled to Japan as an art educator delegate and has led the student print exchange between Maine and Aomori, Japan and has her work exhibited in the MAPS 2020 exhibitions throughout Maine and Japan. Raegan Russell is a graduate of Boston University’s School for the Arts where she earned both her BFA and MFA. She has participated in artist residencies and workshops at Maine College of Art, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, and the Monhegan Island Residency, where she has been proud to collaborate with Maine’s rich community of artists and craftsmen. Raegan is an art educator at Berwick Academy where she is the Visual Art Chair and Director of Visual and Performing Arts. She has been the recipient of the Dorothy Green Award and is the 2020 MAEA Secondary Maine Art Educator of the Year.
