The Reverend Anne Carroll Fowler is an Episcopal priest and rector of St. John’s Church in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, where she lives. Her work has appeared many journals, and is included in the anthologies Unsilenced: The Spirit of Women, Fresh Water, The Mercy of Tides, and Child of My Child. Four chapbooks, Five Islands, Whiskey Stitching, Summer of Salvage and What I Could, have been published by Pudding House, and a fifth, Liz, Wear Those Pearl Earrings, won the Frank Cat Press 2002 Chapbook Contest. For ten years she ran the Chapter & Verse Reading Series in Jamaica Plain.
